The School of Arts and Sciences is the intellectual hub of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, providing all ABAC students the Core Curriculum and helping to develop their critical thinking, writing, and research skills. The School of Arts and Sciences is proud to offering courses within our USG approved Cadre Curriculum at all ABAC instructional sites. At ABAC Bainbridge, students can complete the Associate of Scientific discipline (A.S.) caste in the Core Curriculum (General Studies pathway). Full Available of Scientific discipline degree programs, the Associate of Fine Arts in Music, and the Cadre Curriculum A.A./A.Due south. degrees are available at ABAC Tifton.
Bainbridge-Tifton two+ii Plans: Bainbridge-Tifton ii+2 Plans allow students to complete the get-go two years of their B.Southward. caste at ABAC Bainbridge and and so transfer to ABAC Tifton for their last two years. At ABAC, I work mainly with students in Writing and Advice, and Agricultural Communication, mentoring students in the areas of Creative Writing and Rhetoric. I also teach in the Rural Community Evolution program. I'm on the Board of Directors for the Southeastern Writers Association, and I'chiliad too Vice-Chair of the Board for the leadership programme of Locate Due south Georgia, an economical development consortium of 21 counties in S Georgia.
Dr. Kennon Bargain

I am an Acquaintance Professor of Political Scientific discipline in the School of A rts and Sciences and have served at ABAC since 2009. Beyond the classroom, I love working with students. In 2018, I lead a study away trip to Rome, Italy. For 2019, I will be leading a month-long study abroad tour of Paris and northern France. I accept likewise mentored several students who are currently attention police and graduate school or have successfully begun a career within their field. In the Tifton customs, I am a member of the Kiwanis Club and attend St. Anne's Episcopal Church building, where I teach Sunday School. I accept a passion for the great game of golf, am an avid fan of Star Wars, anything Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Mercer University football (Get Bears!).
